About 10 minutes from the historic centre of Luxembourg's oldest city, Camping Officiel Echternach is nestled in the green countryside between the Sauer River and the rocky landscape of the Müllerthal region. Close to the campsite is the Wollefsschlucht, one of the most spectacular natural monuments in the region. It is crossed by route 2 of the Mullerthal Trail.

The beginnings of the Echternach Camping Officiel go back to 1936 and since then the care is guaranteed by the Syndicat d'Initiative. The campsite is situated on the edge of the forest and is lovingly planted with hedges, shrubs and flowers. The site is divided into three areas, (Camp 1 -3) and has pitches for permanent campers, pitches for campers and caravans, a tent meadow with barbecue facilities, kotas from Finland and camping barrels. The kotas and barrels are best suited for people who enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling.

Small pets are allowed on the campsite, but not in the camping barrels and kotas from Finland. Campers can use the camper service (supply and disposal) and chemical toilets are of course available. There is a room with washing machines and dryers. Free Wlan is available in the reception area and in part of Camp 3.

The site has a beautifully designed children's playground with a climbing park made of "wood from here" and offers a variety of children's activities in summer. The swimming pool is heated with solar energy. A tennis court and a beach volleyball court round off the facilities.

The Camp’s Bistro is the social centre of the campsite, where you can enjoy a drink or a snack. Every morning you can get fresh bread rolls and croissants between 8 and 10 am or order a full breakfast.
